Founded in 1975, Milton Medical Centre has been caring for the local community and visitors in the Milton Ulladulla district with a patient centred focus. The doctors, nurses and valued support team are dedicated to providing services that promote good health and well-being for all patients in al stages of their lives.
Dr. Leesa Osborne has been working at Milton Medical Centre since February 2017 when she began as a registrar. Leesa was born in Bathurst, NSW and moved to Ulladulla in 2001 with her husband and family wanting to raise her family in a small community. Leesa enjoys working with people from all walks of life and continually learn from my patients. She described it as such a privilege to take care of people and support them. Leesa studied at Wollongong University and was recognised on the Dean’s merit list. She is an RACGP fellow and has completed a diploma in child health.
Leesa enjoys working with medical students and junior doctors within the GP practice. Leesa has a special interest in aged care and also attends both Residential Aged Care facilities (Arcare and IRT Milton).
In her spare time she loves to paddle outrigger canoes, run, do yoga, read and spend time with her beautiful family and pets. Leesa paddles with both Mollymook outriggers and Makai Paddlers.
Dr. Declan Mulvaney has been working at Milton Medical Centre since June 2005. Declan is from Newry in Northern Ireland and graduated from The Queen’s University, Belfast in 1995. He is an experienced General Practitioner with a particular interest in cardiovascular health, men’s health and managing Diabetes.
He has been involved in General practice education for many years and is involved in the supervision of doctors in training at Milton Medical Centre.
Dr Mulvaney has been an Honorary Senior Lecturer with The University of Wollongong for several years .He provides training for Medical Students in the Graduate School of medicine
Dr Mulvaney represents the NSW South Coast on the RACGP State Faculty Council.
Dr. Amanda Venables commenced working at Milton Medical Centre as a GP registrar in 2014. Born in Yass NSW Amanda moved to Cooma with her family. She completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney and moved to Milton in 1989 as a partner in Milton Pharmacy. She subsequently had four children, who are all grown up now. Amanda returned to the University of Wollongong and studied medicine graduating in 2010. Amanda’s decision to return to university was solely centred around returning to the Milton Ulladulla area to replenish the medical workforce. She loves her role as a GP especially the problem solving and facilitator role for her patients. She is passionate about preventative medicine and keeping patients well. She is committed to patient centred care. Amanda trained as a GP Anaesthetist and completed her Diploma in Child Health. She is heavily involved in teaching medical students and holds an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer role at the University of Wollongong.
Amanda is an Attending Medical Officer at Milton Hospital, and does daily rounds on patients admitted under her care. She also has a special interest in aged care and palliative care she also attends both Residential Aged Care facilities (Arcare and IRT Milton).
When not at work Amanda enjoys catching up with her children, reading, gardening, horse riding and the occasional hiking holiday.
Dr. James Walker graduated with a Bachelors degree in Medicine and Surgery from The University of Bristol in England in 2010. He spent a year working in the UK before moving to Australia to work in Emergency medicine in Sydney. 5 years later he switched to train in General Practice, and has been working at Milton Medical Centre since 2016. He is a fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and is an accredited Doctor with The Skin Cancer College Australia.
James is an experienced adventurer, and has a special interest in Expedition Medicine. James is married to Lara and has 3 young children. In his spare time he enjoys CrossFit and ocean swimming, and is an avid reader of literature.
Dr. Katie Macartney has worked at Milton Medical Centre since August 2015 when she started as a GP registrar. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Melbourne, and has Diplomas of Palliative Medicine and Child Health. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice and has special interests in geriatrics and palliative care, as well as paediatrics. She has been appointed an Honorary Clinical Academic with Graduate Medicine at the University of Wollongong.
Katie also attends both Residential Aged Care facilities (Arcare and IRT Milton), and she works in the Milton Medical Centre Antenatal Clinic on Thursday afternoons and the Endometrisosis and Pelvic Pain clinic on Tuesdays.
She is a member of Mollymook Surf Lifesaving Club and is involved in a local book club. She spends her free time at the beach, reading, doing Pilates, spending time with family and walking with her dog Finn
Dr. Ellie Vidler commenced working at Milton Medical Centre in August 2014. She studied at the University of Newcastle and initially started working in Milton as an intern. She then continued on at Milton Medical Centre going on to complete her registrar training and obtain RACGP fellowship, a diploma in Child Health, a Masters in Public Health and a Masters in Tropical Medicine, and is now a consultant general practitioner with special interest in travel and tropical medicine. Ellie likes sharing information and educating patients, seeing them use the information and hopefully become healthier. She finds it satisfying to be puzzle solving- putting patient’s symptoms together and being able to come up with a diagnosis and solution. Born in the Shoalhaven, Ellie lives in the region and enjoys her rural life with her family and church. Ellie is also a keen runner and cyclist, and loves the beach.
Dr. William Fong commenced working at Milton Medical Centre as a GP registrar in February 2024. William was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Singapore. William studied a Bachelor of Medical Science and then a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle. He has also completed additional training in BASIC ICU and E-FAST ultrasound. Dr. Fong enjoys GP and the opportunity for building long term relationships and achieving continuity of care with patients. His special interest areas include paediatrics, dermatology and emergency medicine. Outside of medicine, William enjoys tennis, snowboarding and surfing. He loves living in a small community close to the coast.
Dr. Sereibanndith Seang started working at Milton Medical Centre in February 2024. Sereibanndith was born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and raised in Sydney. He completed a bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales, and a postgraduate certificate in Surgical Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. Sereibanndith moved to the South Coast to spend more time by the water and is looking forward to practicing holistic care in the local community. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in nature, listening to audiobooks and trying new recipes. Sereibanndith has a special interest in skin cancer medicine, chronic disease management and preventative health.
Dr. Genevieve Fair started working at Milton Medical Centre as a GP registrar in February 2024. Genevieve had worked across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven areas for the previous five years in the fields of emergency, obstetrics, paediatrics and general practice. In GP, Genevieve enjoys the variety of medicine and getting to know her patients. Genevieve studied medicine at the University of New South Wales where she completed additional research into access to primary care services for asylum seekers. Genevieve has a diploma in ACEM emergency medicine, ACRRM Advanced Skills Training in Emergency Medicine, the Certificate of Women’s Health (RANZCOG) and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma of Child Health. Her special interest areas include emergency medicine, women's health and paediatrics. The south coast has become home for Genevieve who is originally from Newcastle, NSW. Away from Milton Medical Centre Genevieve enjoys traveling, hiking, canoeing and being outdoors.
Dr. Shailesh Anjanappa commenced as a registrar at Milton Medical Centre in February 2024. Born in Bengaluru, India, Shailesh moved to Australia in 2006. He obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Bangalore. Shailesh enjoys GP including interacting with a diverse group of patients. He has special interests in emergency medicine, palliative care and working in aged care. Shailesh is looking forward to traveling and exploring the beautiful NSW south coast. He enjoys nature, long walks and traveling with family.
Belinda commenced working at Milton Medical Centre in 2014 as a registered nurse. Born on the northern beaches of Sydney, she moved to the south coast with her family where she has worked as both a nurse and paramedic. Belinda obtained a Bachelor of Nursing from Charles Sturt University as well as a Bachelor of Clinical Practice (Paramedicine) and also has a degree in psychology from the University of New South Wales. Belinda enjoys working with patients of all ages and the variety of work that comes with general practice nursing. She has a special interest in preventative medicine and healthy lifestyle promotion.
Belinda enjoys spending time outdoors mountain bike riding, bushwalking, going to the beach and spending time with her family.
Jane Gordon commenced working at Milton Medical Centre as a Diabetes Educator and registered nurse in May 2012. Jane has been working as a diabetes educator for thirteen years and likes helping people achieve better health. Jane trained as a nurse at Canberra Hospital and as a diabetes educator at Mayfield College in Victoria. A
way from work, Jane can be found doing mosaics, yoga or walking. Jane moved to this area for family reasons and for the weather. Jane is passionate about the environment and helps to make Milton Medical Centre as green as possible.
Pippa Miller has worked as a registered nurse at Milton Medical Centre from July, 2018. Born on the northern beaches of Sydney she has moved to the south coast to be close to family. Pippa obtained a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Technology in Sydney and has additional qualifications in theatre and anaesthetic nursing. Pippa enjoys being able to build relationships with patients and working along side our close knit team. She also has a special interest in perioperative nursing. When Pippa is not at work she enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids, going to the beach, yoga and anything to do with nature.
Ange returned to Milton Medical Centre as an enrolled nurse in June 2021 and has worked as a GP practice nurse for fourteen years. She enjoys the variety associated with working as a GP practice nursing and specialises in wound care and skin cancer. In her spare time Ange is very active and enjoys camping, paddling, travelling, hiking and spending time with her family. Ange was born in Macksville and moved to this area for family, lifestyle and work related reasons.
Kate commenced working at Milton Medical Centre in 2021. Kate was born and raised in South Australia and moved to the south coast of NSW when she began working as a Paramedic for NSW Ambulance. Kate enjoys helping others and particularly enjoys assisting patients with varying and complex medical problems. She has a special interest in remote and rural nursing and preventative medicine.
When not working Kate enjoys spending time with her family, bushwalking and long walks along the beach.
Paulla commenced working at Milton Medical Centre in February 2023 as a registered nurse. Spending most of her life in the Canberra area, Paulla obtained a Bachelor of Nursing at the Australian Catholic University. Paulla worked in the aged care sector, followed by a long career at The Canberra Hospital. She enjoys her role as a nurse, particularly working as part of a close-knit team in general practice nursing, which allows her to care for patients across the community. Paulla moved to the South Coast area for family and lifestyle reasons and enjoys the outdoors, paddling, travelling and spending time with her family.
Jenna started working at Milton Medical Centre as a registered nurse and a midwife in March 2023. Jenna was born in Kew in Victoria, grew up on the south coast and has lived in Port Macquarie and Goulburn. Jenna studied at Charles Sturt University where she received a Bachelor Degree in Nursing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery. Since then Jenna has done further study in childbirth education, baby massage and acuneedling. Jenna has a special interest in and passion for antenatal education and postpartum preparation. Outside of work she can be found by the sea with her family, reading books and doing yoga.
Ashleigh commenced working as a registered nurse with Milton Medical Centre in March 2023. Ash obtained her Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Wollongong and has a special interest in paediatrics and palliative care. Ash moved to this area initially when she was 20 years old and has recently come back to be close to family. Ash enjoys going to the beach, the gym and being outdoors with her family.
Annie commenced working at Milton Medical Centre in May 2024. Annie has been a registered nurse for more than 28 years and caring for people with diabetes for more than 7 years. Annie has a number of qualifications including Bachelor of Nursing, Graduate Certificate in Critical Care and a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management. Annie has a special interest in diabetes, and likes to help people with diabetes to live holistically and optimise their quality of life. Annie is currently progressing to become a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. Annie has worked in Victoria and New South Wales in the regions and the cities. Born in Orange, Annie and her family always dreamed of living on the coast. Away from work, Annie enjoys going to the beach, camping, being a cricket and AFL mum, doing yoga and drinking coffee
Born in Milton Hospital, Gina has been living locally most of her life. Gina commenced at Milton Medical Centre in March 2000, had some time working at Kiama Medical Practice and returned in August 2020. Gina has been a practice manager since 2009 and has a Diploma in Practice Management, a Diploma in Leadership in Healthcare Practice, Adv Diploma in Leadership & Management with the University of New England. Gina is also a certified member of the Australian Association of Practice Managers, the South Coast District Networking Group and NSW Rural Doctors Network PM group. Gina has won “Boss of the Year” for Illawarra / Shoalhaven area, and in 2015 was a finalist for the Practice Manager of the Year. She enjoys working in a team environment, supporting staff with daily challenges and encouraging staff to do their best. Her ultimate goal is to create a happy practice to work in for staff, patients and visitors.
In her spare time, Gina likes photography, reading, sewing and spending time with family and friends. She is a member of the Milton Ulladulla Camera Club and the Wollongong Photography Group.
Nicole Lemon joined the team at Milton Medical Centre in August 2012. Born in Milton Hospital Nicole has lived in this area all of her life except for time spent overseas. Nicole has been on the front desk since she commenced at Milton Medical and enjoys working as part of a close team and the close friendships she has formed with colleagues. Nicole has completed a Cert 3 in Business Administration and a Medical Practice Assisting course. Nicole’s role also includes being the Placement Facilitator for the UOW Medical Students and the coordination of medical internship rotations at Milton Ulladulla Hospital and Milton Medical Centre.
In her spare time Nicole enjoys travelling domestically and overseas, spending time with her family, her friends and her dog named Gypsy.
Maddy became part of our team in January 2016. She has been a medical receptionist for 4 years and enjoys working locally and being part of such a great team. Maddy graduated from Ulladulla High School in 2015 and completed a Business Certificate III as part of her traineeship with Milton Medical in 2016/2017. In her spare time away from MMC, Maddy likes to spend time with friends, family, her partner and her dog. Maddy was born in Milton Ulladulla Hospital, her family own a property just out of Milton and she considers herself very lucky to have grown up in this area.
Kellie commenced at MMC in August 2021 and enjoys working as part of our friendly and professional team. Kellie lived in Milton as a child and after moving to Sydney for some time returned to the area to raise her family. She enjoys bushwalking, bike riding and spending time at the beach with her family. Kellie also has a Certificate III in Children’s Services.
Jess started working at Milton Medical Centre in March 2017 and enjoys forming relationships with patients and colleagues. Born in Bowral, Jess has done a Bachelor of Education and is currently studying as a Medical Practice Assistant with UNE Partnerships. Jess enjoys spending time with her three children and is involved in many dance projects including the Milton Ulladulla Entertainers where she acts as a choreographer and volunteer raising money for local charities and organisations. Jess has lived in this area since she was a toddler, had some time away to study but moved back to start her family. She enjoys the lifestyle in Milton-Ulladulla and feels it is a great place to raise children.
Lexi commenced work at Milton Medical Centre in July 2023 and has been a medical receptionist since 2019. She attended university in Manchester, UK where she studied Spanish & French. She loves the beach, running, jigsaws, reading, hiking, dancing and loves hanging out with friends. She moved to our area for a slower pace of life, more space for a dog and easier access to the beaches and countryside. She loves being part of a small rural community rather than the hustle & bustle of Sydney.
Ali started working at Milton Medical Centre in October 2020. Originally from Canberra, Ali spent holidays on the south coast and moved here with her family. Ali enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family including her two border collies. At MMC, Ali enjoys the fast pace of work, ongoing learning and working with supportive colleagues.
Natalie commenced working at Milton Medical Centre in May 2024. Natalie was born in Milton Hospital and has lived locally all of her life. Natalie is a member of our administration team and enjoys the ongoing learning, support and working with the team at Milton Medical Centre. Away from Milton Medical Natalie likes to spend time with her family and friends, go walking and go to the beach.
Sarah commenced working at Milton Medical Centre in April 2024 and enjoys working as part of the great team and helping people in need. Sarah moved to the region from Sydney and loves the lifestyle, the laid-back nature, the slower pace and the beautiful beaches of the south coast. Sarah enjoys playing netball, spending time with her friends and family and going to the gym.
